Samantha Cawthon is the Founder & Lead Teacher of Learnimize. With over 14 years of experience in teaching elementary school, both in the US and internationally, Samantha is a seasoned educator, mentor, and curriculum designer. She's also a certified K-6 teacher with ESL expertise and a specialization in educational technology. Samantha's passion for student-centered education led her to establish Learnimize, aiming to inspire a love for learning while emphasizing creativity and collaboration. As a homeschool pod teacher and 1:1 tutor, she's dedicated to empowering students to excel academically, discover their unique voices, and have fun! Beyond her role in education, Samantha is also a world traveler, having lived abroad and drawn inspiration from diverse cultures and experiences to enrich her teaching practice. With her dedication, expertise, and love for learning, Samantha brings a dynamic perspective to education, empowering students to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Andii Hunt is the Executive Director of an in-person non-profit organization named Wisdom and Wander Center for Kids in Tampa, Florida where she creates classes, camps, and clubs inspired by children. She began her career as a classroom teacher, first in Ohio and then in Florida. After more than 17 years as a teacher, she decided to pursue 2 new dream goals... 1. homeschooling her son and 2. encourage kids and their families that they can have a voice in what they learn and how they learn it while having fun, being creative, and working together!

K-6 PHONICS, SPELLING, READING

Josie Dribbon, is an Orton-Gillingham Trained Tutor certified through the Orton-Gillingham Academy, specializing in phonics, reading, and dyslexia support. With a focus on new and striving readers aged 4-11, Josie offers personalized 1:1 private lessons sessions. Josie's approach to reading instruction is highly individualized, meeting each student at their level of readiness. Her multisensory lessons encompass phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding skills, spelling, and more, ensuring a comprehensive approach to literacy development. With Josie's expertise and dedication, students embark on a journey of literacy acquisition tailored to their unique needs and strengths. Originally from New York and currently residing in Colorado, Josie enjoys spending time in nature, learning instruments, and of course, reading!

ASL INSTRUCTOR

Cassidy Arteaga is an American Sign Language teacher, based in central California. She fell in love with ASL as a child and took various classes all throughout her schooling, even going to college to further her study of the language and the culture it represents. Since 2011, she's had the opportunity to teach both homeschool and privately schooled students in group settings as well as 1:1. ASL is a life-long passion of hers, and she loves watching the next generation become 'sign language nerds' like herself. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with animals -- primarily horses -- and is currently working on publishing her debut novel.
